Have a fantastic, beautiful and glorious trip!!! Paris must be so beautiful this time of year (I've only been during the hot summer months!). Please eat a criossant for me....and the gelato there is so good too! So lucky!!

you must do tea at harrod's -- it's the best! yes, it's touristy... but WHO CARES? you're in london!

Go to Fortnum and Mason's as well. They are known for their gourmet foods:

or check out the restaurant The Ivy, where a lot of theatre people eat.

Oh have a great time! You must check out Marriage Freres in Paris! If you feel too cheesy to have a proper tea in London, why not have brunch in Paris?

http://www.mariagefreres.com/

I've heard that brunch is THE THING to do these days. Marriage Freres has a wonderful selection of teas and three locations (in the 4th, 6th and 8th arrondissements).

Also while in Paris, be sure to check out their north African cuisines especially the sandwich shops which are cheap and tasty(mmmm...kefta).

Mangez bien for those of us who can't be there too!

PS. Love your blog. I found you through AT. Your photographs are beautiful and your cooking chutzpah is applause-worthy. I made the salmon/cous-cous and zuchini fritters last week and they were delish. Thanks for the inspirations!

you should definitely do high tea. I did it with my sister at the savoy, which was wonderful. she also had high tea with my other sister at claridge's - you can't go wrong with either. if you find yourself on the south bank, I love bermondsey kitchen. its not far from borough market. at borough, the chorizo sandwiches are AMAZING (he runs out early and there's always a line, so go early). and you cant really go wrong with any of the conran restaurants/gastropubs - owner by either father or son. have a great time. london is the best, esp this time of year.

I like tea, but the one time I had tea, I cheated and got coffee. But regardless? It was my absolute favorite memory of my trip to Singapore, as we did high tea at the Raffles Hotel, which is AMAZING. Tea at a hotel is a must, if my experience is any indication. You're going to love it. Tell London I'm excited to be seeing it soon! And have a great time!

Awesome! Enjoy your trip, and don't forget to take some pictures for us to drool over! :-)

I'm a late-y-poo, (I was sick!), but I hope your trip was all that you dreamed of and more!

Luisa

Fantastic - I hope you have a great time! You will, I'm sure. And happy eating!
