INGREDIENTS
2 large onions, diced
olive oil
coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper
fresh thyme
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
3/4 cup chicken stock
1 1/2 teaspoons tomato paste
5 lbs ground turkey
1 1/2 cups plain breadcrumbs
3 eggs
ketchup
METHOD
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Heat olive oil over medium high heat. Add onions, salt, pepper, and fresh thyme; sauté for 10 minutes, until onions are translucent. Add Worcestershire sauce, chicken stock and tomato paste.
Pour onion mixture over ground turkey. Add breadcrumbs and eggs. Kneed together lightly. Pour into pan and shape into loaf. Top meatloaf with ketchup.
Bake in 375 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours. Place a pan of hot water in bottom of oven to prevent meatloaf from cracking.
